Vancouver, BC
NKBA BC Design Excellence award 2018
This townhouse in the heart of Vancouver had incredible million-dollar views of the harbour, mountains the city skyline. The existing kitchen had a very dated 1980’s feel with closed-in spaces, dusty rose faded colours and dark built-ins, all of which contributed to blocking the upscale views. The existing kitchen was old and dated with dusty and faded rose colours, dark built-ins, and a boxed-in kitchen and dining area, blocking the upscale Vancouver harbour views. We created an open concept, knocking out walls and combining living spaces for a more cohesive flow. We installed custom-made cabinetry bringing in the abundant natural light and highlighting features like growing herbs and flowers right in the kitchen.
