The marketing intern will work within the marketing team alongside the social media, content writer, graphic designer, photographer, videographer and public relations interns to assist in the development of written content for ads, campaigns, and event planning, amongst others.

The successful candidate will fulfill the following education, experience, and skills requirements;

Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, advertising, marketing or a related field
Experience with Photoshop an asset
Familiarity with various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization and Key Performance Indicators an asset
A positive, can-do attitude
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a team mentality
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage several different projects at once
Self-guided and self-motivated
Must be available for at least two days per week for approximately six to eight weeks.
