This North Vancouver project involved the complete renovation of a main bathroom in a 1934 North Shore craftsman home. The clients wanted modern functionality while respecting the heritage character of the home.
VGC carefully removed original tile and fixtures, replaced aging galvanized plumbing with copper, added radiant floor heating, and installed a custom walk-in shower with period-appropriate subway tile. The vanity was custom-built from white oak to complement the home's original woodwork. Permit from the District of North Vancouver managed by VGC. Total project cost: $38,000. Duration: 5 weeks.
