Richmond Whole-Home Renovation — 1980s Rancher Modernisation

This Richmond project was a full whole-home renovation of a 1,800 sq ft 1984 rancher. The clients purchased the home at below-market value specifically for renovation and planned to live in it long-term after completion.

VGC co-ordinated all trades: full kitchen gut and rebuild (custom cabinetry, quartz, appliances), two bathroom renovations, new hardwood flooring throughout, window replacement (all 14 windows), electrical panel upgrade from 100A to 200A, and exterior paint. The City of Richmond permit process was managed by VGC. Total fixed price: $195,000. Timeline: 14 weeks.
