West Vancouver Kitchen & Bathroom Renovation — Post-and-Beam Home

This West Vancouver project required a sensitive renovation approach in a 1962 post-and-beam home — one of the West Coast Modern designs that define North Shore residential architecture. The clients wanted a contemporary kitchen and two updated bathrooms without compromising the home's character.

VGC's approach preserved all exposed beam and column framing, introduced a minimal-intervention kitchen design with handle-free cabinets, a waterfall quartz island, and hidden appliances. Both bathrooms received spa-inspired renovations with large-format tile and walk-in rain showers. District of West Vancouver permits managed by VGC. Total fixed price: $115,000. Timeline: 9 weeks.
