We are looking for a full-time position interior designer. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and inspired individual with experience in interior design and material selection. We believe in building strong relationships with our clients and are looking for charismatic personnel who can communicate our company values and help our clients enjoy the renovation process.
The responsibilities of this role include assisting clients with the material selection process, managing schedules and budgets, analysis of specifications for material and fixture selections, understanding working drawings, resolving selection issues, communicating with clients, coordinating with suppliers and inspecting progress and quality of work. There may be some travel to job sites involved.
The successful candidate will fulfill the following education, experience, and skills requirements;
- Diploma in Interior Design is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office
- 2 – 4 years’ experience in materials selection or Interior Decorating
- Background/knowledge in construction/renovation
- Understanding of British Columbia Building Codes
- Experience managing projects and procurement
- Creative nature
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A professional and courteous disposition
- Valid driver’s license
- Customer service experience

Most of our marketing is done online, through signage and at trade shows. The marketing intern will work within the marketing team alongside the social media, content writer, graphic designer, photographer, videographer and public relations interns to assist in the development of written content for ads, campaigns, and event planning, amongst others.
