Vancouver General Contractors (VGC) was founded in 2011 by Hussain Khatheer, a family man with a passion for improving the renovation experience. After moving to Vancouver from Ottawa, Hussain noticed a significant issue in the renovation industry: many homeowners were left frustrated due to poor communication, unrealistic expectations, and subpar results. Determined to change this, he started VGC to set a new standard for home renovations.
With a background in Civil Engineering and Construction Management, Hussain brought a professional and client-focused approach to the industry. One of his biggest innovations was introducing 3D design services, which transformed the way clients visualize their projects. By providing detailed, realistic designs upfront, VGC has redefined the renovation experience, ensuring clear communication and aligning expectations from the start.
